Client Consultation and Needs Assessment - We learn as much as possible about the client's business, culture and strategy to understand the experience and character needed for successful results. Development of Formal Specifications - We prepare a written position description that details the responsibilities of the position and the qualifications of the ideal candidate. Search Strategy and Research - After working with the client to target companies and potential candidates, we use our network of industry sources, past candidates, and on- and off-line databases to identify prospective candidates. Interviews and Assessment - We personally interview candidates to assess their suitability for the position. Presentation of Candidates - The most qualified candidates are presented to the client in confidential written reports. These reports provide a review of previous accomplishments, an assessment of personal characteristics, cultural fit, management style and verification of educational and employment background. Client Interview - We organize meetings between candidates and clients, including coordinating and/or scheduling travel arrangements. Referencing - After the client selects final candidates, we conduct telephone interviews with business references to verify candidate qualifications and obtain additional information. Negotiation - We provide advice to the client on an appropriate compensation package for the new executive and strategies for defending against counter-offers. Follow-Up - After the search assignment concludes, our involvement continues as we work to help the new executive become successfully integrated into the client's management team.
